Scan Client for Lotus Notes
ScanClient for Notes product from the ViciDocs suite allows
Lotus Notes users to attach scanned documents directly to the emails from the
Notes Client with a seamless interface. How does a user using Lotes notes
client send a paper based document to another user? The user has to use the
scanning software that comes with the scanner, scan the document, store it in
the local machine and then attach the local scanned document to the new
email. Apart from the tedious process, the following are some of the issues
that compound the problem
-
How to scan a multi page document?
-
How to set the scanning options?
-
What output format should be used for scanning the document?
-
How to scan the document from the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) and the
Flat Bed of the scanner?
-
Whenever the scanner is changed, user training has to be done to understand
the scanner options
Throw away all those problems and use a one
common simple interface independent of the scanner to scan your paper documents
and attach them to the emails. Not just that, scan interface is incorporated
into the email design of Notes Client directly thus presenting a much simpler
integration.
